1.    合作模式

• 碩士1+1雙聯計畫，第一年在文藻修習碩士，第二年在明德大學修習碩士，滿足雙方條件後，取得兩校碩士學位。
• 完成一方碩士班課程，卻無法完成另一方碩士學位要求之學生，僅能取得已完成要求一方之學位。
• MIIS提供之口筆譯學位學程（TI）課程如下：

• 筆譯碩士學位（必須通過雙向筆譯考試）；
• 口譯與筆譯碩士學位（必須通過雙向筆譯與雙向逐步口譯考試）；
• 會議口譯碩士學位（必須通過雙向筆譯、雙向逐步口譯，以及雙向同步口譯考試）。

2. 申請條件與流程

• 完成文藻翻譯系碩士班第一學年學業
• 學生必須先獲得文藻推薦(每年由翻譯系甄選件送)，再送交申請資料給MIIS。
• 欲申請之學生必須在正規申請期限前，送交MIIS入學申請以及一般申請文件

3. 學費與獎學金相關規範

• 學生將仍須於文藻註冊並給付文藻碩士班第二學年全額學費及明德大學碩士課程全額學費
• 錄取TI學位課程之學生，每學期將獲得金額為學費20%之獎學金。

4. 學生之責任

• 參與雙聯學位課程之學生於明德大學就讀時仍需在文藻註冊。
• 出發前學生辦妥所需簽證以及移民文件（雙方將提供學生申請簽證所需之文件）
• 就讀MIIS之文藻學生在就學期間，將享有MIIS學生之完整權利。同時亦需遵守該校與文藻所有規範。

The joint degree program of The Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

1. Collaboration Model

• 1+1 joint degree for postgraduate students. The first year of study will be conducted in Wenzao and can apply for the joint degree program to study in The Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey(MIIS) in the second year of study. After fulfilling the graduate threshold of both schools, the student will receive a Master’s degree from both schools.
• Students who successfully complete the Master’s program at one institution but fail to complete the full requirements of the Master’s degree at the other institution will only receive the degree for which they have fulfilled the requirements.
• Programs of TI consisting of the following programs:

a. MA in Translation (must pass translation exams in both directions);

b. MA in Translation and Interpretation (must pass exams in translation and consecutive interpretation in both directions);

c. MA in Conference Interpretation (must pass exams in translation, consecutive and simultaneous interpretation in both directions).

2. Application Requirements and Process

• Students must complete the first year of the master's program in the Department of Translation and Interpretating at WENZAO.
• Students must be nominated by WENZAO(annually selected and submitted by the Department of Translation and Interpreting) and then submit application materials to MIIS.
• To apply, students must submit the MIIS application for admission, and the regular application documents by the normal application deadlines.

3. Tuition and Scholarship

• Students shall continue to be enrolled in WENZAO and pay full tuition to WENZAO for the full second academic year of WENZAO’s Master’s program. Concurrently, students will pay tuition fee for the MIIS Master’s program to MIIS.
• WENZAO students admitted to the TI degree programs will be offered a 20% tuition scholarship each semester.

4. Responsibility of students

• The students who apply for joint degree programs must be enrolled at WENZAO while studying at MIIS.
• Students will be responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa and immigration documents (both Parties will provide the required documents for visa application).
• Students from WENZAO studying at MIIS will have full rights as students of MIIS for the duration of their studies. They will also adhere to both WENZAO and MIIS’s standards of conduct during their study at MIIS.
